i have to be back in rochester in two weeks... and i've nowhere near started packing.
i have a little over a month to scrape together my resume for the career fair.
buy a suit for said career fair.
i need to find a co-op for winter and spring quarters (in rochester, please)so i can go to london next summer.
packaging science scholarship applications.
prepare for orientation training.
read Pride and Prejudice and find my own Mr. Darcy.
relax. (yeah. right)

so. i go back to school two weeks from tomorrow.... and now i realize what little time i have left. i'm working tomorrow, friday and saturday, i'm off sunday and monday, and then working wednesday, friday and saturday of next week. then i'm going up to the track on the next sunday, there's the incubus concert on the 13th, and i'm leaving on the 16th for rochester. where did time go? i've realized that i have about 2 whole days where i will be able to pack all my stuff for this year. i mean, i can't wait to get back, but holy shit. where did the summer go?

i had the day off today and went shopping since i had my 30% coupon for american eagle. i bought new jeans, two really cute shirts, and a fluffy green sweatshirt... all while it's 90 billion degrees outside. I also, being the book geek i am, went to borders to get new reading material since i no longer have harry potter to look forward to/read (which btw, was in my opinion, the best book in the series.) I bought The Works of Jane Austen since it has Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Emma, and Persuasion, all of which i had planned on reading at somepoint, and was for the low cost of $7.99. I also bought a book that was either a Cosmo or Glamour must-read summer reading book,(i can't remember which magazine it was), Summer at Tiffany . Its about this woman and her best friend who became the first women pages to work at Tiffany and Co. so far, so good.

but yeah. time for some dinner soon... then back to the work grind tomorrow. I can't wait to leave Kohls. at all.

ok. so i'm excited. rit has a freaking snowday. this is seriously like, the 4th time that they've every closed the school for bad weather and the last time was in the 1990's. seriously, this is just awesome! :-D so, now we have a holiday off like every other school. sweet.

is it friday yet?!? i'm ready to go home!!

alright, so i haven't written anything in a while. so, at least a short little update....

oaing went awesome. i had a great group and my fellow engineering college oa's were amazingly awesome. i think i'll definitely do that again next year...

alpha xi's going really good. we have 8 new members for the quarter, which is really good. and they're all awesome. yay.

school's going pretty good so far. it's hard, but i'm working my ass off. that's the way to go, i guess

um, idk. not really anything else. well, i think i may have met a boy, so we'll see what happens with that =). things are just going pretty well right now. yay college =)...

ok, so per Bryn's request for updates, well, here's an update.

basically, i've been spending my entire summer at kohl's and SCCC. i hate working at kohl's and honestly can't wait to leave after the holidays. yay for needing a co-op next summer!....
but yeah, calc's going good...i'm set up for at least a b, so yay.

um, my dad moved a couple weeks ago. that was a pain in the ass, but at least the new place is a lot bigger....

i really miss people from school. most of them i haven't talked to since i left and i just want to go back and be with them. no offense to anyone here, but i really haven't seen much of y'all and it's not like i have much time to either. it's either that or people don't want to hang out with me, although i sense the latter. idk. maybe it's just me. but yeah, call me! i'm around folks...

otherwise, my cousin fran's coming to visit!! yay! i'm excited! she's going to be coming the 4th - 6th, so it'll be cool. I'll have to think of some fun stuff to do around here. any ideas?

Godiva- Amazing chocolate. Need i say more
Ghirardelli- Again, good chocolate. Also, amazing ice cream which i will be eating a TON of at Downtown Disney next week. =)
German- My best friend at school is german. It's interesting.. Language wise, i don't know much except most of the lyrics of 99 luftballoons
G-strings- Don't think i would ever wear one. sorry.
Ginger- I used to have a cat named Ginger Grahamcracker. She was evil and is now off on a farm somewhere...
Graham Crackers- I love graham crackers... especially the cinnamon ones with the cinnamon sugar on top...
Green- my eyes are green. sometimes... I also enjoy the color. and my car is green..
Greek- Yes, i joined a sorority so the term "gone greek" is applicable. I also know the greek alphabet and have realized that greek guys at my school are idiots and undatable. Oh, and i'm not a huge fan of greek food. I think it might be the feta cheese...
Gripe- a cool spanish word that i will always remember. when used as el gripe means the flu...
Gromit- I adore Wallace and Gromit. Gromit is cute and awesome.
Grease- Grease Megamix is always a dance favorite. Also, quite fun to sing with lindsey at work back at rit.
Gold Digger- A rap song that i actually like . *gasp*
Goodnight Moon- Seriously one of my favorite books when i was little. so cute! =)
Grand Canyon- Wallpaper on the desktop of the computer and we went there last summer. so awesome
